How does this benefit the environment?

The aim of the scheme is to save 7 tonnes of CO2 emissions across the length of the trial and to reduce up to a possible 300 cars off-the-road per game. The hope is it’ll also ease traffic congestion in the city on a matchday.

How many spaces are there?

There are 300 spaces available for booking on a first come, first served basis.

What vehicles are permitted in the car park?

Cars of up to 7 seats are permitted, however mini buses won’t be accepted.

How far in advance do I need to book?

You can book from the moment tickets go on sale for the specific game you’re going to see. The latest you can book is 24 hours in advance of matchday – however, the later you leave it, the higher the chance tickets will be sold out.

Will I get a booking confirmation email and will I need to show the email / provide a booking reference?

You’ll be sent a confirmation email which you’ll need to bring with you on the day as proof of booking. Your confirmation will be checked by a CES steward on arrival before entry through the barrier.

Do I have to mention that I need an accessible parking space when booking?

If you have accessible requirements get in touch with us via accessibility@saintsfc.co.uk.

What do I need to do if I’m in a wheelchair?

If you require a wheelchair space on the bus, please email accessibility@saintsfc.co.uk.

Is there a concession for over 65’s or if I have a disability?

Pricing is worked out by vehicle and not by person - there’s a £5 flat fee per vehicle.

How secure is the carpark?

The carpark is fitted with CCTV, barriers on arrival and a carpark attendant will be in post for the duration of the Saints Park and Ride trial. There will also be CES stewards on arrival too. However, as the terms and conditions clarify (link to be added) vehicles are parked at your own risk.

How long will the bus journey take?

Around 15 to 20 minutes, dependent on traffic.

How long is the wait for a bus?

Typically there'll be a bus leaving every fifteen minutes or so.

Do the buses run from any other location?

During the trial buses will only have one stop, running direct shuttles between the multi-storey Adanac carpark and South Front.

Where is South Front and how far is this from the stadium?

South Front is located next to Hoglands Park (SO14 1JZ) and is around a 10-minute walk from the stadium. The route to and from the stadium will be clearly signposted.

Where will I be collected from after the game?

Fans will be collected from the same location as they were dropped off before kick-off, in South Front.

How long will I have to wait for a bus pre-match and post-match?

Before the match, we expect buses to leave every 10-15 minutes, meaning there shouldn't be a need to queue.

After the match, there’ll be continuous departures for the first 20-30 minutes after the final whistle. Once the initial rush dies down, buses will then leave every 10-15 minutes until the last departure 60 minutes after final whistle.

Post-match, there may be a need for people to queue for a short while in South Front (there’s no seating available) depending on how quickly buses get back from the car park.

If there’s a queue and you have accessibility requirements, there’s a separate queue where you’ll be given priority access to the bus. Please make this known to a CES steward, who will be more than happy to assist.

What happens if I miss the last bus?

The last bus leaves South Front one hour after the full time whistle. If you miss this bus, you’ll need to find your own way to the Adanac car park, which closes two hours after full time.

Will I be able to get to my car if I want to leave early?

A CES steward will be in attendance at the carpark for the whole match, so if you make your way back to your car early, you’ll be able to get out of the facility.

However, if you’re leaving the game early, you’ll have to arrange your own travel back to the carpark.

Is this available for home and away supporters?

Park & Ride is available for home supporters only.

Please read the NHS Terms and Conditions of using the facility before booking.
