Legendary fundraiser Franny Benali MBE is taking on a new endurance challenge for Saints Foundation – and you could join him.

You can join Saints legend, endurance athlete and award-winning fundraiser Franny Benali "On Tour" as he takes on an exciting new challenge.

In aid of Saints Foundation, you'll take on a day-long marathon-length trek along the beautiful South Downs Way from Brighton to Eastbourne. Franny will lead a small group of you and your fellow fundraisers as you walk from dawn to dusk along this scenic route – a truly unique way to get to know a true legend of our club.

What better way to kick off 2023 than by channelling the Iron Fran mindset and testing your metal to make a real difference to people's lives.

Francis Benali was awarded an MBE in 2021 for raising £1.2m for cancer charities. Both Franny and his daughter, presenter Kenzie Benali, are Saints Foundation ambassadors, championing the support that the club's charity offers the city of Southampton.

Commenting on his exciting new challenge, Franny said: “Nearly four years on from the last Iron Fran challenge, I’m ready! Clearly that’s how long it takes to forget the pain and want to go again.

“Saints Foundation do brilliant work here in Southampton. This city is where I was born, where my children were born, and I can see the impact of their work here with people of all ages. Being their ambassador is a privilege and I’m thrilled to be able to give back by taking on this new adventure. Here’s to hoping you’ll join me!”
