Southampton Football Club can confirm youngster Will Ferry has completed a permanent move to League One outfit Cheltenham Town.

The 21-year-old, who arrived on the south coast in 2017, featured heavily for both the Under-18s and B team, before gaining senior experience out on loan.

Spending the 2021/22 season at Crawley Town, the full-back made 35 appearances in League Two as they finished 12th in the league.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international will now link-up with Saints loanee Dan Nlundulu, who is spending the first half of the 2022/23 campaign with the Robins.

The club would like to thank Will for his service and wish him all the best for the future.
