Bring your used boots to Everton game

Southampton’s Official Energy Partner is on a mission to rehome one million pairs of pre-played football boots – play your part by bringing your used boots to Saturday’s game at St Mary’s.

It’s all part of Utilita’s Football Rebooted campaign to stop unwanted football and astro boots ending up in landfill while giving opportunities to youngsters and adults to take part in the beautiful game without having to worry about the financial implications of affording new boots.

All you need to do is bring your unwanted boots to the fixture against Everton on Saturday 19th February, kick-off at 3pm, and drop them off at the collection points at the Saints Store and outside the Kingsland Stand.

Since the pandemic, Utilita have conducted research that found that more than 12% of all UK grassroot clubs were facing closure and lack of financial support, with increasing costs undermining the game we love for coaches, players and volunteers across the country.

You can help make a difference to players of all ages across the country while also playing a part in reducing carbon emissions and helping our planet – get involved by donating your old boots at Saturday’s fixture.
