Southampton will travel to Chelsea in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Saints reached the last 16 of the competition with a penalty shootout win over Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

Ibrahima Diallo and Mohammed Salisu opened their Southampton accounts as the game finished 2-2 after 90 minutes, with Fraser Forster becoming the hero with two penalty saves in the shootout.

Ralph Hasenhüttl's side will now look to rediscover the form that saw them pick up a 2-0 win in West London in 2019, with Michael Obafemi and Nathan Redmond on target in the Premier League encounter.

The tie at Stamford Bridge will take place the week commencing 25th October, with a confirmed date and kick-off time to be confirmed in due course.
