Southampton will travel to Sheffield United on Tuesday 21st September for their Carabao Cup third round tie.
The cup encounter, which will kick-off at 7.45pm BST, will take place between Saints' Premier League meetings with Manchester City and Wolves later this month, and follows a record-breaking win over Newport in round two.

Saints have won their last four encounters with the Blades, all coming in the Premier League, with Slaviša Jokanović's side struggling for early season form without a win from their opening five league games in the second tier.
