Supporters voted Rachel Panting's strike against Coventry United in the FA Cup as Southampton FC Women's Goal of the season.
With 38% of the votes over Facebook and Twitter, Panting's strike in her side's very first game at St Mary's Stadium took the accolade ahead of three other worthy candidates.
Her goal in the FA Cup pipped Ella Pusey's effort against Portsmouth in the 2-0 WNL Cup win away from home.
Just under 700 voters also had the choice between Shannon Sievwright's stunning long-range strike over AFC Bournemouth and Georgie Freeland's solo effort against Buckland Athletic.
On the winning strike, Panting said: "I must admit I probably acted a bit like a kid after I scored celebrating with my knee slide!
"But do you know what, whatever age, if you’re someone who enjoys scoring and, in an occasion like that, it’s a natural reaction.
"I just think the whole team is so happy we got given that opportunity and we wouldn’t say no to having it again."
