Get set for the week ahead with all the latest from St Mary's and Staplewood...
Away run ends at Anfield
Southampton’s run of four consecutive away victories in the Premier League came to an end at league leaders Liverpool on Saturday.
Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side produced an encouraging performance on Merseyside, but a second half brace from Mo Salah and further strikers from Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain confirmed victory for the hosts.
Attention turns to the FA Cup
Saints are straight back in action this week as they head to Tottenham on Wednesday for the FA Cup fourth round replay.
Sofiane Boufal’s late strike ruled out Heung-Min Son’s opener at St Mary’s at the end of January, with the winner set to face Norwich in the next round.
Southampton will be backed by a sold out away following of 5,690 for the 7.45pm GMT kick-off.
St Mary's to host Spurs screening
For those not part of the travelling contingent to North London, fans can catch the action at St Mary’s.
For just £5 you get access to the bar from 6.15pm, with a drink included – and for £10 you also get a pre-match curry included too.
Saints trio up for monthly awards
Southampton scored a hat-trick for Premier League monthly award nominations for January.
Manager Ralph Hasenhüttl is up for Manager of the Month, with Jack Stephens also shortlisted for Player of the Month.
Completing the trio of nominations, Nathan Redmond’s thunderous strike at Crystal Palace is also listed for Goal of the Month.

Player Break this weekend
There’s no Premier League fixture for Southampton this weekend as the inaugural Premier League player break comes into effect.
The Premier League will split one round of matches in February over two weekends, with five matches on the weekend commencing 8th February and five on the weekend commencing 15th February.
This follows an agreement from June 2018 between The Football Association, the Premier League and EFL to allow a player break for each Premier League team.
Saints will return to action at home to Burnley on Saturday 15th February at 12.30pm GMT, with tickets now on general sale.
Under-23s host Wolves
Southampton Under-23s return to Premier League 2 action on Monday night as Wolves visit Staplewood.
Advancing in the Hampshire Senior Cup last Tuesday with a convincing 4-1 win over AFC Totton, Dave Horseman’s side will now look to carry that momentum into their league campaign.
The match kicks off at 7pm GMT.
Women’s team prepare for Pompey
Southampton FC Women will face rivals Portsmouth on Wednesday night for their rearranged WNL Cup quarter-final.
Postponed on Sunday following a pitch inspection, Marineanne Spacey-Cale’s side will now make the short trip along the coast on Wednesday with a 7.45pm GMT kick-off.
Taking place at Gosport’s Aerial Direct Stadium, ticket details are to be confirmed but will be available on the night.
