Moussa Djenepo was on the scoresheet for Mali on Sunday afternoon as they beat Chad 2-0 in an Africa Cup of Nations Group A qualifier.

The winger fired his nation into the lead in the 14th minute, before Mohamed Camara rounded off the scoring just before half time, with hosts Chad unable to find reply.

The victory puts Mali joint top of the pack, level on four points with Guinea, who themselves beat Namibia 2-0 in their corresponding group fixture.
