Mohamed Elyounoussi was on the scoresheet once again for Celtic as they returned to the top of the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

After bagging a brace in the 6-0 win over Ross County the week before, the Norwegian winger rounded off the scoring in this weekend’s 4-0 win at Aberdeen.

For Elyounoussi, the 25-year-old now has four goals in eight appearances for the Bhoys whilst at the other end, Fraser Forster kept another clean sheet.

Victory restored Neil Lennon’s side back to the summit of the table, ahead of local rivals Rangers on goal difference.

In the Istanbul derby, Mario Lemina came out on the losing side as Galatasaray came away from Beşiktaş with a 1-0 defeat.

Fatih Terim’s side were looking to make it three consecutive wins in the Süper Lig and bounce back from the narrow midweek defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

However, Mehmet Umut Nayir’s strike on 69 minutes proved to be enough, with Lemina replaced on 78 minutes in search of an equaliser.

Defeat leaves Galatasaray in seventh, with Beşiktaş now just one point behind in eighth.

In Europe, Wesley Hoedt and Guido Carrillo both played 90 minutes and finished on the winning side as Royal Antwerp and Léganes both recorded wins in Belgium and Spain respectively.

For Léganes, it was their first La Liga win of the season after dismissing former Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino earlier in the week.

Elsewhere, Harrison Reed helped Fulham pick up a point on the road at Middlesbrough despite being reduced to 10 men early on, whilst Gillingham duo Alfie Jones and Tom O’Connor enjoyed a 1-0 win at Accrington Stanley.

Concluding the round-up, Jake Hesketh was an 86th minute substitute as Lincoln City lost 1-0 at Portsmouth in League One last Tuesday, with their meeting with Bolton postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch.
