AFCON action for Boufal and Djenepo
Sofiane Boufal, on as a second-half substitute, played 32 minutes of Morocco’s 1-0 victory over Namibia in their Africa Cup of Nations Group D opener.
Morocco were favourites ahead of the tie, but there was no score until the 89th minute, when Hakim Ziyech whipped a smart ball into the area, which was misfielded and inadvertently turned into his own net by Itamunua Keymuine.
New signing Moussa Djenepo and Mali kick off their own campaign against Mauritius
at the New Suez Stadium at 9pm BST. Djenepo is joined in Group E by Tunisia and Angola.
Update on 2019/20 kit release
Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the club and our sponsors, the delivery of our new home and away kit has been delayed, meaning it will no longer be ready for purchase on Friday 28th June.
The club is doing everything possible along with the third parties involved to have our new kits available to our supporters as quickly as possible. We will keep supporters updated on a new on-sale date for all of our 19/20 kits as soon as possible.
Fans who have already pre-ordered their new kit for delivery on 28th June will be contacted individually by email.
This does not impact our special fan event ‘Saints Fest’ which will take place as planned on Saturday 29th June. More details and tickets are available by clicking here.
