Ralph Hasenhüttl believes there can be even more to come from Southampton’s Player of the Season, Nathan Redmond, in the years ahead.
The 25-year-old scooped both the fans’ and players’ prizes at the annual awards ceremony this week, with his manager saluting him as a deserving recipient.
But Hasenhüttl believes the progress will not stop there, and that Redmond can find other levels in his game.

Speaking ahead of the final match of the season, at home to Huddersfield this afternoon, Hasenhüttl said: “He deserved to get these awards.
“I have told you always that I am sometimes very critical with him, and in the beginning forced a lot from him and demanded a lot from him in what he has to do against the ball and with the ball.
“I think he's made a good development so far, he's scored a lot of goals and he's showed he can make the difference in our game.
“I was happy also that the fans voted for him, because it means they see what he is investing and what he gives for the team, and this was the key I think in his game.
“When the body language is ok, when he's positive, when he's more in the positions he can score then he can help us a lot.
“I am very happy for him, and it's not only an award, it's like a signal for him for the future that he still has potential and that he is not on the limit so far. I think if he knows this then he can make the next step in his development next year.”
