Jake Vokins played the full 90 minutes as England Under-19s recorded an impressive 4-1 victory over their Dutch counterparts at St George’s Park.

The 18-year-old left-back, who has been an ever-present for Saints’ Under-23s so far this season, lined up alongside Man City starlet Phil Foden and Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund.

Reading striker Danny Loader fired a brace, with Foden and Manchester United’s Angel Gomes also on target for Keith Downing’s side.

Netherlands scored their goal from a penalty through Zakaria Aboukhal, who later missed from the spot as Curtis Anderson saved his effort.

Vokins and co will now head to Tubize to face Belgium in their second game of the week.
