Mark Hughes is buoyed by a sold-out away crowd following his team to Selhurst Park on Saturday, as Southampton look to register their first win of the Premier League season.
Almost 3,000 Saints fans will be making the trip to south London, as they look to help their side to a second away success of the week, having overcome Brighton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
"We've had great support,” said Hughes. “It was fantastic the other night, I must say, against Brighton, so we want to get back on track, we want to get that first win on the board – that's the key, it just settles everybody down, and then we can build our season.”

Saints beat Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park in the Premier League last season, in what was Eagles manager Roy Hodgson’s first game in charge of the club.
Since then, they have improved dramatically under the guidance of the former England manager, and Hughes knows what to anticipate from them.
“Roy's influence on the Palace team is starting to obviously show now,” said the Saints boss, who is aiming for his first Premier League win as a manager at Selhurst Park.
“His sides are always very well organised and very well drilled, all his teams that he's involved in.
“I had the benefit of following him at Fulham, and you could tell a lot of good work had gone on beforehand, and I was able to benefit from that.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for Roy. I like him as a guy as well – he’s very open, and just a guy that's in love with football, and it's always good to speak to him after.
“I need to obviously try to improve my record at Palace – it's not been the best, as I was reminded earlier on, so it would be a good start at the weekend to try to change that.”
