THE MATCH

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Southampton
Sunday 29th October, 1.30pm BST
Amex Stadium
Premier League

WHAT’S AT STAKE?

The Seagulls will be looking to build on their most comprehensive Premier League victory to date, after defeating West Ham 3-0 at the London Stadium last weekend, while Saints are equally eyeing back-to-back wins after edging past West Brom at St Mary's.

Brighton are unbeaten in three home league matches, but Saints have a strong record away from home, having only conceded twice on foreign soil this term.

A win has the potential to send Mauricio Pellegrino's side as high as seventh, while the hosts would leapfrog Saints in the standings if they were to secure victory.

Southampton: Mauricio Pellegrino will be without Mario Lemina after he suffered an ankle injury in training. That aside, Saints have a clean bill of health for the trip to the Amex Stadium.

Brighton: Steve Sidwell is the only definite absentee for the Seagulls as he continues to nurse a back problem.

Israeli international Tomer Hemed is once again available after his recent suspension for a violent conduct charge.
