Southampton manager Claude Puel says he will be taking the Europa League extremely seriously this season.
Saints have been drawn alongside Internazionale, Sparta Prague and Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the group stage.
It is an exciting, but also challenging, group. However, it is one that Puel is confident his team can progress from.
"The draw is exciting," said Puel. "I think it will be important to take this competition seriously.
"It's important for all people, the players, the fans, and it's important to take the Europa League step by step. It's difficult, but very exciting for the future.
"For us, it will be important at the end of this group to have the qualification for the next round. This is important, and also to take every game in the Premier League with importance, because the most difficult in this competition, with a game every three days, is to keep good results and possibilities to have another qualification for next year. This is very important."
