Southampton duo José Fonte and Cédric have been selected in the latest Portugal squad.
The pair are set to be in action for their country next week, for the first time since lifting the European Championship trophy in the summer.
Portugal host Gibraltar in a friendly match, on Thursday 1st September, in what is a warm-up for their opening World Cup qualifier.
That sees them visit Switzerland on Tuesday 6th September, as they look for a strong start to their Group B campaign.
Portugal also have Andorra, Faroe Islands, Hungary and Latvia in their group.
