Fonte and Cédric hope for Portugal action

By SFC Media time Wed 22 Jun Club

José Fonte and Cédric will today hope to see their first action at EURO 2016, as Portugal face a huge clash with Hungary.

After draws with Iceland and Austria in their opening two games, Fernando Santos's team are in real need of the three points when the teams meet in Lyon (kick-off 5pm BST).

Fonte and Cédric have been on the bench for both of Portugal's matches so far, but, despite being heavily involved in their country's warm-up fixtures, have yet to make it onto the pitch in the tournament.

They will be hoping to change that tonight, as well as Portugal's fortunes, as Santos's men look to make sure they do not suffer a surprise early exit from the competition.
