Saints launch real-time score alerts with Twitter

By SFC Media time Wed 06 Apr Club

Southampton Football Club is pleased to announce a new Twitter service that will provide Saints fans with real-time score alerts direct to their mobile lock screen.

Saints will be the first club in England to launch this new service, working alongside Twitter to deliver key updates to supporters from all of our Barclays Premier League games.

Rather than receiving every update from the club by turning on notifications from Southampton FC throughout the game, the new service will ensure supporters can be kept informed of the moments that matter.

The real-time updates will work via Direct Message on Twitter, sending a notification to your mobile phone whenever a goal is scored in a Saints game, as well as half time and full-time updates.

To sign up, simply click here to send a Direct Message to the club, and start receiving real-time score alerts from every Saints game, starting with Saturday's visit of Newcastle United.

Please make sure you have notifications for Direct Messages turned on, to ensure you receive our real-time alerts straight to your lock screen.
