We've picked our four nominees for February’s Player of the Month award – and now it's time to place your vote!
Following a run of three clean sheets it’s no surprise that Fraser Forster is up for his first Player of the Month award following his remarkable return to action.
The goalkeeper produced a stunning display to keep Arsenal at bay in the opening game of the month, before keeping further clean sheets against West Ham United and Swansea City.
Virgil van Dijk, who won the award back in October, is also nominated for his role in the three clean sheets. The defender was at his best against Arsenal, West Ham United and Swansea as Saints stopped the opposition from finding a way through.
Fellow defender José Fonte is also up for the award. The skipper played his part in those three clean sheets against Arsenal, West Ham and Swansea City, while also performing well in the defeat to Chelsea.
The final nominee is striker Shane Long. The Irishman, who won the award in December, continued his fine form during February. He scored the only goal of the game in the win against Swansea City, while also netting his tenth of the season in the defeat to Chelsea.
Voting for the award closes at midday on Wednesday 2nd March with the winner to be announced to Season Ticket holders and Official Members in March’s official email newsletter.
