Reed and Gallagher named in England U20s squad

Harrison Reed and Sam Gallagher have been named in the England Under-20s squad for the upcoming U20 Elite Cup in Germany.

Gallagher, who is currently out on loan with Championship side MK Dons, joins up with Keith Downing's side for the first time next month having previously represented Scotland and England at under-19 level.

Reed, who featured at the Toulon Tournament for England Under-20s in the summer, returns to the squad for the upcoming fixtures in Germany.

England will take on the Netherlands in their opening game on Wednesday 7th October, with kick-off at 11am BST.

Reed and Gallagher will then go up against Turkey at the Donaustadion Ulm on Saturday 10th October, with the game kicking off at 11am BST again.

Tournament hosts Germany will be England’s final opposition, with the game getting under way at 6pm BST on Tuesday 13th October (kick-off: 5pm BST).
