Dušan Tadić heaped praise on his teammates after scoring twice in Southampton’s 3-0 win against Norwich City.

The Serbian international grabbed his second and third goals of the season in the win against the Canaries, slamming home Sadio Mané’s pass before tapping in after Graziano Pellè had seen his header saved.

The midfielder felt it was an important display from the whole team as they picked up their first Barclays Premier League win of the season.

“What was important was that we show we can play well as a team,” Tadić told youtube.com/southamptonfc. “I get immediately the feeling that we were going to show a good performance.

“When we play good like a team then Graziano [Pellè], me and the rest of the team can show our qualities. I think this is most important. This win is for the whole team.

“I think it was important for everyone. After Thursday we lost a little bit of confidence. We know what we can do. We need to play like this because we are a footballing team.

“We like to play like this because we win football matches like this.”

Tadić was delighted to get on the scoresheet twice in the win against the Canaries.

“I’m really pleased,” he added. “But what I saw this is a performance from the whole team. You can see we are really dangerous.

“When we make space for ourselves we can score a lot of goals.”
