Saints youngster Josh Sims is gearing up with England’s Under-17s for a European Championship Elite Qualifying Round match with Czech Republic tomorrow.
After a sterling debut pair of appearances for the Young Lions consisting of a goal and assist in the Algarve Tournament, the Saints Under-18 winger has been selected again to try and help carve a path for England to this summer’s Championships in Malta.
Sims and the rest of the squad are currently in Czech Republic for their opening game of the qualifying stages, with matches against Albania and Italy to follow.
Similar to his bow when he began England’s game against Holland in Portugal last month, Sims will be hoping he’s in his country’s starting line-up take on the Czech’s at the Městský stadium at 4pm GMT.
The Albanians are next to follow on the Friday two days later, before the final clash of the qualifying round against Italy arrives on Monday 31st March.
