Four Saints players have been selected for England Under-19s’ friendly against Turkey next week.
There are first call-ups for Sam Gallagher and Harrison Reed, while Calum Chambers and Matt Targett have retained their places in Noel Blake’s 17-man squad.
The Young Lions face Turkey next Wednesday with a 7pm kick-off time at the Swansway Chester Stadium, home of Conference Premier side Chester.
Chambers is likely to captain the squad once again, having skippered Blake’s side as they progressed through the first qualifying round for the 2014 UEFA European U19 Championships.
The 19-year-old now has 14 Under-19 caps and two goals to his name, having made his debut in September 2012.
Targett, meanwhile, made his first-and-only appearance for England in November’s friendly win over Hungary, having previously represented Scotland at Under-19 level.
Gallagher now joins the full-back in switching allegiances from the Tartan Army to his birth country, and is now called up by the Three Lions for the first time.
The striker had previously made three appearances for Scotland’s Under-19s before breaking into the First Team at Southampton, for whom he has now played eight times.
This will be Reed’s first international involvement at any level. The 19-year-old midfielder has also broken into Saints’ senior set-up this season, and now has four appearances to his name.
All four players will head up to Chester this weekend after the First Team’s game against Liverpool, and will then return to Southampton immediately after next Wednesday’s match.
