By SFC Media time Fri 30 Aug Men's First team

Victor Wanyama has been named in the Kenya squad for their 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Namibia next weekend.

The Harambee Stars are in action at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi at 2pm BST on Sunday 8th September.

Kenya captain Wanyama will join up with his nation after tomorrow's Barclays Premier League game at Norwich, and will return with plenty of time ahead of our home game against West Ham United in just over a fortnight's time.

Victor joins eleven other First Team players who have already been called up for international games beginning next week.

They are: Maya Yoshida (Japan), Artur Boruc (Poland), Emmanuel Mayuka (Zambia), Dejan Lovren (Croatia), Rickie Lambert (England), Gastón Ramírez (Uruguay), Steven Davis (Northern Ireland), Luke Shaw, James Ward-Prowse (both England Under-21s), Lloyd Isgrove (Wales Under-21s) and Calum Chambers (England Under-19s).
