WHAT A SHIFT! Saints more than deserved of a point here at the Etihad, arguably unlucky not to take all three. Both sides had chances in the first half, Elyounoussi going closest for the visitors. In the second Saints thought they had a penalty, Armstrong fouled by Kyle Walker (who was also red carded), VAR overturned both decisions. City couldn't get through Saints with a draw a fair result.

A draw probably a fair scoreline at the break as both sides have had chances. Saints started the game the brighter of the two sides with City unable to get out of their own half. Then the home side turned the screw; Gündogan and Jesus amongst those who went close for City. Saints more than holding their own as the half-time whistle is blown.
