Austin's effort deflects out
A wonderful long-range pass splits Huddersfield open and Redmond has a chance to dink the ball into Austin but his effort from close range is blocked behind for a corner that comes to nothing.
Pritchard sends one wide
Pritchard is involved again for the visitors. His free-kick is headed out and Redmond can't control it, and the diminutive midfielder takes it on before hitting low drive just wide.

Kongolo drives down the left before picking out Mooy and he lays it off for Juninho Bacuna to strike, which goes just over the bar.

Huddersfield come forward again and Grant's effort towards the far post is held by Gunn.
Redmond's run thwarted by Stankovic
Redmond is causing problems again. He tricks his way into the box looking for a shooting opportunity but Stankovic makes a timely interception.

Redmond slides a through ball into Ward-Prowse but he opts to try and steer it towards Ings rather than shoot left-footed and it's cut out.
Redmond beats Hogg on the break
Redmond sets Saints on a counter attack with plenty of men in support after racing past Hogg, but after feeding Ward-Prowse his shot is blocked and runs through to Long, who is offside.
Kongolo heads over
Pritchard delivers a corner from the right, Kongolo rises highest but it's not testing Gunn in the Saints goal.
Ings' curling strike drifts wide
Ings does well to win the ball back off Pritchard in a dangerous area and he then looks to test the keeper with a curling right-footed shot but it's off target.
Mooy goes close
Mooy does well to find space on the edge of the area and looks to curl a left-footed shot into the far corner, but thankfully it goes inches wide.
Long looks to lob the keeper
Ings plays a ball over the top from deep for Long to chase, Coleman comes out of goal to clear and hits a defender. Long tries the lob but it goes just wide.
Stephens blocks Smith's long-range effort
Kongolo's cross from the left is cleared as far as Tommy Smith, who unleashes one from range that is blocked bravely by Jack Stephens,.
Grant forces Gunn into action
Huddersfield go down the left through Mbenza who plays it into Grant, who cuts inside and looks to test Gunn with an effort towards the near post but it's a routine save.
Ward-Prowse delivers successive corners
Saints have started brightly. Ward-Prowse sends a second corner in quick succession but both are headed away at the front post.

Ings is released by the captain and gets into the box, but after his cut back to Redmond, he is crowded out and can't find room for a shot.
