ings' header saved by dubravka
ward-prowse sees a shot blocked by almiron, before his corner is met at the front post by ings' head. it takes a nick off schar on the way through but dubravka collects.
perez scores again
rondon is released down the left and picks out the run of perez with a ball across the six-yard box and he hits the ball into the ground on the slide and it bounces up and over gunn.

newcastle press high and force yoshida into a pass that is too short for højbjerg. The ball is collected by perez who drives forward and sends a shot in off the post.

yoshida picks out redmond with a through ball and the flag stays down. he drives into the box and pulls it back to ward-prowse, who sees his effort blocked by matt ritchie.
ings breaks away after intercepting
ings is involved again and breaks through the middle with redmond left and sims to his right but he can't quite get his feet sorted to play the right pass and the move breaks down.

newcastle's fabian schar has the ball in the corner in his own half and the saints man presses him to block it out for a goal kick.
gunn denies almiron
rondon flicks the ball around the corner to almiron and he tries his luck from an acute angle, which angus gunn gets a strong hand to.
rondon's flick on is dealt with by bednarek
salomon rondon's flick on from paul dummett's cross causes a problem momentarily, but jan bednarek intercepts at the expense of a corner.
