CHANGING MINDSETS. BUILDING CONFIDENCE. BECOMING CHAMPIONS.
Working full-time in Southampton's secondary schools, our Community Champions take the pull of our football club to bring a different dynamic to school life. The goal? To engage with kids who find it difficult in a traditional school environment.
We work closely with students to bolster their self-esteem and aspirations in class, whilst showing them different possibilities outside of the classroom. And our work isn’t just off the pitch – we provide after-school football sessions too, promoting teamwork and bring everyone at each school closer together.
I feel so much more positive now. My family are proud of me and tell me how far I have come. This has changed my life.
