Former clubs: EvertonYoung starlet Thierry Small arrived at Southampton from Everton at only 17, signing a three-year contract in August 2021.
Born in Solihull, the left-back started his youth career at West Bromwich Albion before moving to Everton at 11-years-old.
Becoming a mainstay in Everton’s Under-23 side during the 2020/21 season, Small then etched his name into the history books in January 2021 when he made his senior debut and became Everton’s youngest ever player.
Aged just 16 years and 176 days, Small was substituted on in Everton’s fourth-round FA Cup victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Goodison Park.
The youngster has also featured for his country, earning a maiden call-up to the Three Lions Under-19s squad back in May 2021 and provides youth and versatility for Saints, being able to operate as a central defender or left-winger as well as his natural left-back position.
